How does CREB protect investor capital?

October 27, 2026

Capital preservation is the first priority in how CREB builds its portfolio, ahead of chasing the highest return.

Structural protections

  • Real estate collateral: loans are secured by first liens on U.S. property.
  • Borrower equity cushion: conservative loan-to-value ratios mean a property can lose value before the loan is at risk.
  • Short durations: short-term loans let the portfolio adjust as conditions change.
  • Treasury and cash reserves: liquid assets support withdrawals and stability.

Record so far

As of March 31, 2026, CREB reports $0 in principal losses since inception. Past results don't guarantee future results.

CREB bonds are investments, not bank deposits. They are not FDIC insured, and you could lose money, including principal.
